Welcome to Jakob: New apprentices start
Our new apprentices are starting their training at Jakob Rope Systems. This year there are three commercial apprentices and one apprentice textile technologist specializing in hoisting and lifting technology.
Four new apprentices are starting their apprenticeship at Jakob Rope Systems this week. Valerie Lempen and Ashley Schmid will start their apprenticeship as commercial administrators with us. Jeannine Krähenbühl is also joining us as an commercial apprentice. She will continue her apprenticeship with Jakob in her 3rd year. The three apprentices will be mentored during their apprenticeship by our experienced vocational trainer Ivan Brechbühl.
Over the next three years, Tim Kohler will complete his apprenticeship with us as an textile technologist specializing in hoisting and lifting technology. Our Head of Hoisting and Lifting Technology Urs Schneider will support Tim during his apprenticeship as a vocational trainer.
With the start of Tim Kohler, for the first time in the company's 120-year history, Jakob Rope Systems has four apprentices in the company who are learning the "rope-making profession" (textile technologist / specializing in hoisting and lifting technology). We are very proud of this.
