Green facade with integrated fire protection

A facade greening with fire protection solution at a listed art nouveau building. For the Hotel Alma in Zurich Seefeld, our customer Hydroplant AG developed this special vertical greening with our Jakob GreenTrellis system.

The fire protection solution is integrated into the tendril structures with spray lines. In an emergency, the facade is automatically irrigated with spray nozzles. Fire protection and irrigation of the greenery are solved separately.

Climbing plants with different flowering seasons were chosen for the planting. The combination creates a vibrant and varied vegetation over four seasons.

Our GreenTrellis system was installed. This trellis system is ideal for partial greening on facades and concrete walls. Horizontal angle profiles connect the integrated ropes and offer high stability and quick assembly on site.
