Eiffel Tower

With around 6.4 million visitors, the Eiffel Tower is the most-visited structure in the world and its iron structure a symbol of the pioneering spirit of the industrialisation. Today, a modern stainless steel construction made by Jakob Rope Systems provides the required safety for the Eiffel Tower. The Webnet elements protect the four feet of the Eiffel Tower against unauthorised access and thus prevent climbing on the monument. In order to increase the transparency of the net structure, the Webnet was coated in the colour black.
