Finding space for more outside areas in the middle of Paris is difficult. In this day nursery, several terraces were redesigned to gain more space for childkeeping outside. Safety is of prime importance here, with kids up to three years being kept in the nursery.

With the wire mesh Webnet, the planners found a solution for the railings in the balcony and staircases that combines safety and timeless design. The stainless steel wire netting is strong and safe. The safely joined wire rope together with the the small mesh aperture used here minimise the risk of injury and rule out falls.
