Inselspital Heliport

A new rescue helicopter landing pad measuring 40 x 25 meters was built for Bern’s Inselspital in compliance with the latest safety standards. Jakob Rope Systems supplied 250 square metres of Webnet netting for the horizontal fallstop perimeter.

The use of the stainless steel net Webnet as a horizontal and vertical fall prevention is authorised by the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik (German Institute for Civil Engineering, DIBt). The solid net out of stainless steel AISI 316 is weatherproof and also resistant to the strong winds that arise during the many starts and landings of the helicopter.
