One Central Park – Sydney (Australia)

Architect: Ateliers Jean Nouvel; Botanist: Patrick Blanc; Contractor: Tensile Design & Construct

Soaring up to a height of 150 meters, the greenwalls that adorn
One Central Park in Sydney are the tallest in the world.
Extensive wind tunnel studies were conducted to make sure that
the climbers and vines – over 2500 in total – would withstand the
winds and weather at the site.
Jakob’s AISI 316 trellis components, configured and installed by
Tensile in partnership with Jakob, demonstrate what is possible
today in the domain of façade greening. The vertical gardens are
nothing short of spectacular.
